Today my gerbil got loose. Here are some tips to catch a gerbil on the loose. I'll say yes or no if I did these things.
1. Always shut the door to the room you just searched. Yes.
2. Always stay calm. No.
3. Lock up a dog (cat, not a fish, exc..) in a room you are sure it is not in. Yes.
4. If the gerbil is under a book shelf (dresser, shelf, exc..) you should use a book to pull it out. Yes
5. Once you find the room the gerbil is in, make sure you shut the door and cover the bottom SECURELY. Yes.
6. Once gerbil is caught, hold on to it tightly. It may get loose again. Yes AND no.
7. If gerbil is in cage and gets loose, you can get it back in with food. (once you find it). Didn't happen.
Finally my mom caught it.
